Thijs Zweers works are a visual research on the interface of the digital and physical world. His works consist of charcoal drawings combined with neon lighting, based on screenshots of virtual scenes that he usually makes himself, but sometimes comes across on the Internet or in games. These virtual paradise-like pictures show the volatility of the Internet and can present itself as an utopian environment adapting itself to the needs of the beholder, smartly disguised as reality.
